The Sad and Terrible Truth

If you're expecting some really emo journal. You are sadly mistaken.

I wanted to get rid of the last journal seeing as I've been back from camp for three weeks.

I have gotten a lot of work done, recently and I'm hoping to share it with you guys soon. The problem is that I don't sign on here as often as I used to.
You see, Hikari and Ebil, while they do come on now, seem to hate answering their messages. Which usually means I have to do it. Which, in turn, means that I have to spend all my time writing Journals and submitting art, or even browsing, thanking people for artwork thats not even mine. And I refuse to get a new account because I am too darn lazy for that.

Also, a while back I got a virus on my mom's old computer that still hasn't gone away even though it's been about 5 months since it was infected. The site I got it on was Deviantart. After that I got a sorta fear of going on here that often. And, sadly, have been avoiding Deviantart.

Another thing I would like to stress is that I simply don't have time to check all of the messages that have piled up from when I was camp. There's simply too many. I'm actually going to, after thanking people for faves, wipe my entire message box clean. I'm so tired of seeing the "YOU HAVE 100 ART PIECES YOU NEED TO CHECKZOMG!" reminder at the top of the screen. So don't feel offended if you aren't recognized.

Now I have to go to sleep since it's midnight and I have to go to school tomorroe. OH GOODY.

Animecon

Ignite here!

This weekend I went with my good friend J to and Anime con. It was worth the long drive. We first started out the day by going to a supermarket in our cosplays. We weren't wearing our wigs just yet but since I was wearing all black shorts with arm gloves we got some strange looks and I practically froze to death in the frozen food isle.

At the con I got to buy some pins from The World Ends With You in artist's alley as well as meet and hug :iconlavender-ice:. It was amazing! I got to stay for two days and on both days I got to kick butt in DDR.

I did like the previous location of the con better, though. Last year there was more room to stretch out in, and easier to get my brother's 6 foot long scyth through the door without killing a person.

but overall I had a good time.

So I've been questioned about why I haven't been on lately. The reason? I just recently found a game that I am so in love with at this point that I can't stop playing it. When I'm not playing this game I just sort of lay around my house sleeping and working on cosplay.

But give me a break people! It's not often that I find a game I absolutely love. The game is called The World Ends With You. I think it came out last summer in America so I'm pretty late playing it. BUT. I. LOVE. IT.

Other than that, on the art side. I have been working, it's just that most of it won't fit in my scanner and I'm too lazy to actually care about putting up pictures right now. Too busy with work for school and art class.
I fact, I just got tricked into drawing 10 pages of a children's book for a friend of mine at school so i might not show up for awhile.

It's also spring, which means the public parks look beautiful right now. Walking around gets my brain juices flowing in the right direction. Which means I'm thinking up the next great way to make a baby cry.

Until next time.
